Hendrick Goltzius

   Nascido entre a Holanda e a Alemanha Goltzius foi desenhista, gravador e pintor. Um incêndio lesionou sua mão. Ele usava o dispositivo de desenhar de forma diferente. Usando todos os músculos do braço, o que acabou sendo uma vantagem.

   Ele aprendeu a pincelar vidro com o pai e a gravar com Volckertszoon Coornhert. Em 1590 viajou para Itália onde estudou as obras dos grandes mestres. Sua instrução em gravura se tornou renomada na Europa.  Se igualando ao grau de apreciação que Dürer tinha.
 
  Pintou temáticas contemplativas como O cristo na cruz. Uma de suas famosas pinturas chama-se A QUEDA DO HOMEM de 1616.

 
  Born between the Netherlands and Germany Goltzius was a draftsman, engraver and painter. A fire injured his hand. He used the device to draw differently. Using all the arm muscles, that turned out to be an advantage.



   He learned to brush glass with his father and record with Volckertszoon Coornhert. In 1590 he traveled to Italy where he studied the works of the great masters. His engraving instruction became renowned in Europe. Equating to the degree of appreciation that Dürer had.

 

  He painted contemplative themes as The Christ on the Cross. One of his famous paintings is called THE FALL OF MAN, 1616.


    Der zwischen den Niederlanden und Deutschland geborene Goltzius war Zeichner, Graveur und Maler. Ein Feuer verletzte seine Hand. Er benutzte das Gerät, um anders zu zeichnen. Das Verwenden aller Armmuskeln erwies sich als Vorteil.



   Er lernte mit seinem Vater Glas zu bürsten und mit Volckertszoon Coornhert aufzunehmen. 1590 reiste er nach Italien, wo er die Werke der großen Meister studierte. Sein Gravurunterricht wurde in Europa bekannt. Das entspricht der Wertschätzung von Dürer.



  Er malte kontemplative Themen als Der Christus am Kreuz. Eines seiner berühmten Gemälde heißt THE FALL OF MAN 1616.
